Terms of sale

Last updated September 20, 2026

These terms apply to every order placed with The Card Supplier. Placing an order means you accept them.

1. Who we sell to

We sell wholesale, to businesses that resell. To open an account you must provide a valid seller's or reseller permit and sign a resale certificate. Every application is reviewed by a person, and we may decline or close an account at our discretion.

Products and wholesale pricing are visible only to approved account holders. Your login is for your business, and you are responsible for activity under it.

2. Orders and how they are confirmed

Adding items to your cart and checking out places a request, not a binding sale. A sale is formed when we confirm your order and issue an invoice. We may adjust or decline any order, including for stock, allocation or pricing errors, and we will tell you if we do.

  • In-stock items. We confirm availability, normally within one business day, then email your invoice.
  • Pre-orders. Reserve upcoming releases before the order-by date shown on the product. Pre-orders are requests. Nothing is charged when you place one; we confirm your allocation and email your invoice when the product arrives, and it ships after that.
  • Japanese and Chinese product. Ordered weekly, with a Sunday 8:00 PM Pacific cutoff. These orders take about 2 weeks.

A cart containing items with different lead times is placed as separate orders so each can be confirmed, invoiced and shipped on its own schedule.

3. Allocation and availability

Some products are allocated by the manufacturer. Where a release is allocated, the quantity you ask for is a request and the quantity you receive may be lower. Release dates are set by the manufacturer and can move or be cancelled. If a pre-order is cancelled or cannot be filled, you are not charged, or you are refunded in full if you have already paid.

4. Prices

Prices are in U.S. dollars and can change without notice. The price that applies is the one on your invoice. Suggested retail prices and margin figures shown on the site are estimates to help you plan, not a promise of what you will sell for.

5. Payment and processing fees

Invoices are payable by card or bank transfer (ACH) and are due within 7 days. Payment processing fees are passed through at cost and shown before you place the order — they are never built into the product price.

Unpaid invoices may be cancelled and the goods released. We may hold or refuse new orders on an account with an overdue balance.

6. Sales tax

We do not charge California sales tax on orders placed with a valid resale certificate on file, because the goods are bought for resale. Collecting and remitting tax on your own sales is your responsibility, as is keeping your permit current. Tell us promptly if your permit lapses or changes.

7. Shipping, title and risk

We ship within the United States. Shipping is charged at a flat rate per order and shown at checkout, and every shipment includes tracking. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees.

Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand the shipment to the carrier. Inspect your shipment on arrival and tell us within 5 business days of delivery if anything is missing, or damaged in transit, keeping the packaging so we can file a carrier claim.

8. Returns

Wholesale orders are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on product you have received and accepted. What we do cover is our own error: if we ship the wrong item, a short shipment, or product damaged in transit and reported within the window above, we will replace it or credit you.

Trading card products are sold as packaged by the manufacturer. What is inside a sealed pack, box or case is determined by the manufacturer, and we make no representation about which cards a given sealed product contains.

9. Cancellations

You may cancel an unpaid order by emailing us before it ships. Pre-order requests can be cancelled up to the order-by date for that release; after that date the order is committed with the manufacturer and cannot be cancelled.

10. Resale

You buy for resale through your own business. You are responsible for your own retail pricing, for any age restrictions or local rules that apply to what you sell, and for your own customer service. Nothing here grants you any right in a manufacturer's trademarks or artwork.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for lost profits or other indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kern County, California.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place an order is the version that applies to it, and the date at the top shows when this page last changed.
